Corporate Ether Treasuries Surpass $10.5 Billion, Bitmine Leads With $2.4 Billion as Firms Outpace Ethereum Foundation
ETH treasuries held by 64 entities now total $10.58 billion, or 2.26% of Ethereum’s supply, per StrategicETHReserve. Bitmine tops the list with 625,000 ETH ($2.42B), followed by SharpLink Gaming and Ether Machine. These three now hold more ETH than the Ethereum Foundation’s 234,600 ETH.
Analysts say the shift reflects growing institutional interest in staking and DeFi, though risks remain. Standard Chartered sees potential for ETH treasuries to eventually reach 10% of total supply.
Bernstein Says Robinhood and Coinbase Set to Outperform as Crypto Cycle Gains Momentum, Highlights JPMorgan Integration and Surging Adoption
Bernstein analysts say the current crypto bull cycle is still in its early stages and expect rising volumes and mainstream adoption to benefit platforms like Robinhood and Coinbase. Both firms received “outperform” ratings, with Robinhood closing above its price target after a 175% YTD rally and Coinbase gaining 47% YTD with 35% more upside.
Robinhood posted a breakout Q2, with 46% revenue growth and strong recovery in July driven by Ethereum, Solana, and DeFi interest. Its crypto take rate rose to 57bps, and new product expansions, including Bitstamp integration and EU tokenization, signal growing pricing power.
Bernstein concluded that current developments validate the outlook that crypto is still in the early innings of a broader bull cycle.
Coinbase Q2 Revenue Misses at $1.5 Billion Despite $1.4 Billion Net Income Surge From Circle Gains, Shares Drop 6%
Coinbase reported $1.5 billion in Q2 2025 revenue, missing Wall Street’s $1.59 billion target amid falling trading volumes and weaker subscription growth. Transaction revenue dropped to $764 million, while subscription and services brought in $656 million, both below forecasts.
Net income soared to $1.4 billion on one-time gains from Circle investments and crypto holdings, but markets remained cautious, sending shares down over 6% after hours.
Executives emphasized a strategic pivot toward becoming an “Everything Exchange” with new financial partnerships and regulatory optimism, but analysts say long-term growth still hinges on reducing dependency on volatile trading activity.
Ethereum Unveils 10-Year ‘Lean Ethereum’ Roadmap Targeting 10,000 TPS, Quantum Security, and zkVM Execution
Ethereum’s core devs released a 10-year roadmap called “Lean Ethereum” on the network’s 10th anniversary, aiming to scale Layer 1 to 10,000 TPS and Layer 2 rollups to 1 million TPS. The plan focuses on performance, decentralization, and quantum-resistant security.
A dual-mode design introduces “Fort Mode” for resilience and “Beast Mode” for high throughput. Key upgrades include Beacon Chain 2.0, Blob 2.0, and EVM 2.0 optimized for zk execution. The roadmap signals Ethereum’s ambition to become the backbone of the decentralized internet through 2035.
